Around the world

Since the beginning, the group has gained widespread approval and has spread the name of Arezzo all across Europe and in the other continents with 1500 performances.

Among the most significant events we can mention:

1968 Olympics opening ceremony in Mexico City and in the World Cups of Soccer in Germany (1974), Argentina (1978), Italy (1990) and France (1998) as well as in the European championship in Switzerland (2008); it also took part in the America’s Cup in New Zealand (2000) and in the opening stage of the Giro d’Italia in Amsterdam (2010). It was guest of the Queen of England, of the current Emperor of Japan and of Pope Benedict XVI as well as of many other heads of state.

It performed at the World Cups of Volleyball, Horse Riding, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Rally and Formula1; in funfairs such as Disneyland Paris, Port Aventura (Spain), Huis Ten Bosch (Japan) and Silver Dollar City (Missouri); for DUCATI Races, ALITALIA, IVECO and for many other companies that wanted to promote their business (Daimaru, Far Eastern, Kaufhof and so on).

In 2010 it also marched in the Chinese New Year Parade in Hong Kong and for the 66th Regiment of Forlì in Lebanon. Last but not least, it participated in a number of historical carnivals (Nizza, Ivrea, Sanremo and others), medieval fairs (Sedan, Bonifacio, Ibiza and so on) and Three Kings’ Parades (Madrid, Bilbao, Oviedo et al.)
